Testimonials
"We want to make a difference and do something in our community. We want this to be a safe place to hang out to play games, cards, watch TV and to create sober connections, including a meditation room. The goal is to be open seven days a week, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. “We want to meet the needs in our community,” Kurrell said. “When people are getting sober they lose a lot of connections. This is a place they can feel safe and learn to have fun and live a life of sobriety.”
— Lorie Kurrell, Walking Free Clubhouse Founder
“This community has needed something like this."
— Joe Kantz - Snyder County Commissioner & Board Chairman
“It’s like family. We all want to see each other succeed. I didn’t think it was possible to have so much fun sober."
Rich Gilson
“We’re from all different walks of life, but our stories are the same.”
